Hardness Unit Converter 2.4.0

The Hardness Unit Converter application provides the convenience of converting hardness values between 12 different units. These units include Vickers hardness HV, Brinell hardness HBS and HBW, Rockwell hardness types such as HRA, HRB, HRC, and HRD, as well as Rockwell superficial hardness units including HR 15 N, HR 30 N, and HR 45 N. Additionally, Shore hardness HS and tensile strength MPa are supported for conversion.

Users can simply input the desired hardness value and choose the corresponding hardness unit from the selection menu. The application will then accurately convert the value into the selected unit, offering versatility in converting across various scales.

It is noteworthy that the application bases its conversions on recognized standards such as ASTM E 140 Table 1 and JIS. For values not explicitly listed in the reference tables, the app applies polynomial approximation to provide accurate conversions. Values falling outside the common range are denoted within parentheses for user awareness.
